The first Atamras Kirtan Darbar is being held at the Sri Guru Nanak Satsang Sabha (Gurdwara Sahib Blackburn, Victoria). The Gurdwara Sahib is located at 127 Whitehorse Road, Blackburn and is approximately 8 minutes walk from the Blackburn Station.
Melbourne is well connected by Air to all major cities within Australia and Internationally. For most out of town visitors flying in will be the best option. Alternatively, for Sydney and Adelaide Sangat there is an option to enjoy a train ride. For more information on visiting Victoria visit the VisitVictoria website.

AtamRas Kirtan Darbar expects a large number of attendees every day and with sangat safety in mind, limited vehicular traffic or parking shall be allowed within the Gurdwara Complex.
Important Note: **Limited Parking within Gurdwara Complex**
Shuttle buses can only accommodate able-bodied sangat. 12 seater shuttle buses can only accomodate kids 7 years and older.*
*Children under 7 years old must be seated in appropriate child restraint seats, which are not available in our 12 seater shuttle buses. Therefore, younger children, individuals with disabilities, and infants should be dropped off at the Gurdwara before proceeding to the various car parks.
** Whitehorse Council has graciously allowed Sangat to park at Silver Grove at the Nunawading Train Station without a time limit on Saturday and Sunday (7th and 8th June).
Due to limited parking within the Gurdwara complex, we humbly request the sangat to use Public Transport. Blackburn has a railway station that is part of the Melbourne Metro network and offers frequent services from Melbourne city center. Frequent AtamRas Shuttle Pickups shall operate between the Blackburn Railway Station and the Gurdwara Sahib.
Alternatively, if you choose to drive, shuttle pickups shall operate from certain public car parks around Blackburn area.
Sangat is kindly reminded to be considerate to the residents and to avoid parking on residential roads, nature strips and grass verges around the Gurdwara. Especially around John Street and Pope Road to ensure Emergency Services Vechices access
Please strictly follow parking signage at designated car parks**. Please park within parking bays and never block any driveways.
Council Parking Inspectors actively patrol this area and will not hesitate to issue fines.
Sangat is advised to drop off children under 7, disabled and the elderly at the Gurdwara Sahib before proceedinf to the various car parks.
For sangat visiting from out of town, accommodation can be booked at one of the partner hotels. Shuttle pickups shall also operate from these hotels to the Gurdwara Sahib on the days of the event.

For those choosing to drive in, the Blackburn Primary School’s car park is made available courtesy of the school administration. It is only 900m (3 min) away, shuttle pickup shall operate from Blackburn Primary School’s car park to the Gurdwara Sahib.

Airport to Blackburn: Various options are available to reach Blackburn from Melbourne Airport. Options are:
Car Hire: If you are planning on visiting other attractions around Melbourne, car hire may be a good option.
Uber: This is perhaps the quickest/easiest means of transport from the Airport to Blackburn.
Private Shuttle services: SouthEast Airport Shuttle operate shuttle buses with drop off and Pick up points in Blackburn.
